ATTENTION: After 35 years of neuropsychological assessment and psychotherapy practice, Dr. Eschbach is embarking upon retirement. His Schaumburg office has been sold to an MD (Family Practice Medicine), and, therefore, no "in-person" appointments for testing or psychotherapy are being scheduled. A limited number of appointments are available for "telehealth" (using the HIPAA-compliant DoxyMe telehealth platform), and Dr. Eschbach will be available on a limited basis for consultation and teaching. Patients seeking long-term psychotherapy, in-person neuropsychological assessment, or any biofeedback modality are encouraged to seek services from another appropriate professional.

As mandated by the CDC, federal, and state authorities, Northwest Neuropsychology Incorporated (NNI) began providing services via telehealth at the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic (March 2020). Beginning Summer 2023, we have suspended in-office neuropsych testing and psychotherapy services. (This is secondary to Dr. Eschbach's impending retirement at the end of 2023. Please see the ATTENTION statement on the left of your screen.)

For clients/patients preferring telehealth, the electronic platform utilized will depend upon the capabilities of the systems available to NNI and the resources at our clients'/patients’ disposal. This means that for some patients who do not have access to a computer and/or videoconferencing hardware and software—for the safety, health, and well-being of that patient—we may need to rely on telephone/audio calls only. That will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

We prefer to use Doxy.me "doc see me" as the HIPAA-Compatible, secure platform. Patients will need a computer with an integrated or stand-alone webcam, microphone, and speaker. Feel free to contact us to determine technical requirements.

FOR REGISTERED PATIENTS: Please reference the following instructional video. To ensure compatibility with your devices, please run a few diagnostics sometime before your appointment to allow for time for techinical troubleshooting if necessary. To log into your session with your assigned doctor, click on one of the "Start a telemedicine call" links located at the bottom of this page and follow the prompts. A waiting room password will be provided to you.
